I hope all of you reading here had a great day so far! And yes, here I am doing another advertorial for this amazing place; Greenwich. It is situated right at the cross junction that comes from Hougang, Jalan Kayu and Yio Chu Kang Road. It's not exactly new but it's small and people seem to not know much about it. 

There's actually a lot of good food there! First floor, there is Toast Box, Chinta Manis, Gong Cha, OCK, Selvni, Cold Storage, Kopitiam, some dog grooming store, some yoghurt shop and my latest hair salon, Soul Works. On second floor, there is Paradise Inn, Empire State, Cold Stone, Cedele, Coffee Bean, Quiznos, Awfully Chocolate, some Japanese restaurant and Mai Thai. So see, it's actually a pretty amazing place! Though, filled with rich people because surrounding it is all landed property. So stepping inside, don't be so shocked to see people with accents and what not. 

MAI THAI. 

 Honestly, who can ever reject a cup of Thai Iced Tea?

 Of course, what is Thai food without Tom Yam soup?

I never heard of Mai Thai until I went to greenwich. It is pretty good actually however, it is really costly! Mummy and I spent 70 dollars on lunch there. So if you are looking for cheap Thai food, this is not the place for you!

SOUL WORKS.
After lunch, Mum decided to go wash her hair at the salon so I tagged along. The moment I stepped into the salon, the hairdresser came over and started talking about my hair. (In the friendliest way possible) He walked to me and touched my hair, examined my scalp and told me all the issues my hair had. He assured me that he could fix it and I'm like, "Sure, go for it!" So he started shampooing and conditioning and he was just so amiable. Here is his name card.


When we were at the sink to wash off the shampoo, he gave a really good massage to my head and it was just such a lovely time as he tried to fix my scalp issues. He really is a professional!

 THIS IS MY HAIR AFTER TREATMENT. SMOOTH, SILKY AND STRAIGHT! Every good thing! He was so cute because he was grinning from ear to ear, just because he felt so accomplished for making my hair beautiful. He also voluntarily tied my hair for me because I was waiting for my mother to be done with her hair!

So girls, if you haven't found a good salon, I recommend all of you to go to SOUL WORKS and look for my current official hairdresser, Li Wei :)

It's not like me to do something like advertise what I use. However, this new brand that I've been using for almost a month now is really TOO GOOD to not be shared. Besides, the price is really affordable and the service they give is spectacular.

 I don't know if they have any outlets apart from this one but this is located at the first floor of Marina Square. Oddly enough, the thing that first attracted me there were the pretty umbrellas. 

This is how the shop looks like from afar! It's such a pretty shop isn't it? And there was a 20% offer because it was near Valentines' Day!

 They neatly placed all the different scents of bath scrubs aside this beautiful tub filled with red rose petals. The scent was enrapturing. I felt all lovely and happy inside. They would let you smell each of the different scent and then they let you try it. Then they wash it off and you can really feel and see the immediate effect. The staff there are really patient and they made me feel like such a valued customer. A* for everything :) 

 These are what I have been using! Their exfoliating body soap can be used every single day to make you feel squeaky clean always! The first time I used it, the entire bathroom was filled with the OCEAN scent that I felt like I walked out from the sea or something. The body scrub is really the BOMB because it makes your skin super duper smooth, I guarantee you! 

My sister's loots. She bought like a set of 4 things which costed only $29.90. Such a good steal I'm telling y'all! 

No exaggerations of any kind, I promise. It's just that people always tell me I smell so nice so I thought it would be nice to share! So head on down to get it!

State Of Grace

25 February, Monday.
Work was draining as usual but.... my night was AMAZINGLY spent. I reached Serangoon really early and I went to shop for groceries. I bought twenty dollars worth of strawberries and was thinking how would this spend time really turn out, knowing that it's like the first spend time with this person named BRENDA LOW. But... it was so good. We met and decided where to eat. People always get to know how indecisive I am when we eat together because I can NEVER decide. I don't know why. I just don't see much purpose in deciding something that isn't going to affect my life in any way (Am I weird? :( ) We had dinner at Ajisen and I really enjoyed my time with her. After that, we went to Soghurt for dessert and our conversations got deeper and deeper. In fact, it started off already pretty deep! And after that we went to the rooftop to continue our fellowship and I just had so much fun talking to her. And I know, she is really an AMAZING, EXTRAORDINARY girl! I just can't wait to continue to build this friendship with her! I believe it's all part of God's plan. And this plan is awesome.

26 February, Tuesday
It was POURING when I left HOK with Rachel Thomas. I'm really glad to go to work with her because we take epic bus rides to Serangoon. I went shopping and something weird happened to me. Some random guy came and grabbed my shoulder and asked, "Hello, are you Eunice?" And in shock, I said "NO." And he started telling me all about how he was supposed to meet this girl he was talking to online. And I'm like.... speechless. I was really traumatised though. Physical contact with strangers really scare me. Had a great mini picnic with Brenda Yap and Clairechanbun, we were a little out of sorts that day.

1 March, Friday. 
Release of results. Believe me when I say that God is such a joker. When I mustered so much courage to take my results, Mr Max Cheong went, "Oh hey, your results aren't with me, you need to go pay school fees first." I was like, "MR CHEONG!!!!!!!!!!!" And he was all laughing and what not. It was a strange day. I don't want to elaborate more on it lest I become angsty.

Our celebratory drink. We deserve it. This shows that studying TWO WEEKS before A levels can actually get you somewhere. God provided and blessed abundantly. Thank you Lord.

2 March, Saturday. 
Went to Changi City Point for lunch at The Asian Kitchen. The concept is pretty cool actually. There are no waiters or waitresses so you do everything on your own. Bought 3 Twelve Cupcakes for the first time!

And found this really pretty wall just next to the carpark. FULL OF TRUTH HERE GUYS.

Visited Granddaddy after that! He was all cute and stealing our chocolate. But that's okay, if it makes him happy :)

3 March, Sunday
SPENT TIME WITH THE LOVELY JOEY SONG BEFORE SERVICE. It was great knowing her but I just wished that we had more time together because..... I really hope to help her see. See that, studying is never ever a chore. And I know she has it in her to do well and strive hard, only because God said that we have to do the best in everything that we do.

Service drove me crazy with the Acapella because it was making me fall asleep. But Uncle Vincent's lesson changed EVERYTHING. I just love his lessons. Sisters' meeting after that gave me a chance to talk to Zena and I really hope some things I said could help her, in any way possible. Chloe's biblestudy after that was again emotional! Cry cry cry. But I have so much faith that she can do it. That she will be our family soon! Sissie drove Claire and I to Hougang mall after that. We went to the library and borrowed Shakespeare. And we went back to my place and watched 5.5 hours of Pride and Prejudice. It's good to have a friend that has the same interest as me (And not be judged for my geeky nature). Such a great day <3
